This 12-year-old Glen Elgin is a blend of 4 casks. Its profile contains ripe fruit and citrus right from the get go. This is a dram that has interacted extensively with wood, as is clearly shown by its elegant spicy finish. The Single Malts of Scotland Reserve Casks range brings together single malts selected for their quality and flavour profile. Created using a blend of small batches from 4 to 6 casks, these whiskies are bottled after being reduced to 48% without either chill filtering or colouring. Each label includes details about the whisky’s age, provenance and ageing process, and even covers the angel’s share for each region and distillery.
